My research is motivated by an underlying curiosity about individuals' adaptation at work. Specifically, my research focuses on two primary areas:
- Personality and the Dynamic Individual at Work – how individuals adapt to work situations both due to and in spite of their personality traits;
- Training and Transfer – what factors facilitate learning and subsequent application of trained knowledge and skills to novel settings;
In addition, I am interested in Response Effort, particularly how insufficient effort responding to surveys, tests, and objective tasks may affect conclusions drawn from data.
